U12 Bengals – Indoor Workout

The U12 Belleville Bengals will hold an indoor workout this Sunday,  March 26th from 5:40PM to 7:30PM.
This workout will be in the big gym at Nicholson Catholic College, Please use the entrance off of John Street.
This first workout is NOT part of the try-out process.
You will need a glove and indoor running shoes. We will not be batting.   Don’t bring a bat or a ball, unless it’s an indoor ball.
If you’re  thinking about a ball, in our league and any tournaments we will use 11″ balls.
I will be able to answer any questions you as parents or your child might have. I will be there a little earlier and will there until 8:00PM.
If your child wants to, or doesn’t want to play a certain position, this is the time to tell me. We will do some throwing and fielding drills. We hope to have some time for kids who want to try pitching. Remind your child that being a pitcher is also a homework assignment.
It’s open to both boys and girls born in 2005 or 2006.
We can also register anyone who hasn’t registered yet. You must be registered to enter the gym.

The Belleville Bengals are looking for Players & Coaches!

Would your child like to play for the Belleville Bengals?

Belleville Minor Softball is happy to offer a Select program that is available to all of our House League Players. Select teams offer an opportunity for more competitive play and a chance to further develop your softball skills. Some of our Select teams will compete in weekend tournaments only. These clubs will have additional practice times leading up to tournament dates. Other teams will pick up games in a local rural House League loop (Centre Hastings Minor Softball League), as well as tournament play. These teams will practice once a week and will play two games a week (one at home and one on the road).

Please note that your House League team will get priority over Select as our House League depends on the numbers. All of our Select teams will depend on Coach availability and Player interest. Select is open to both Boys and Girls.

We have Coaches in place for our Squirt Team (2005-2006 DOB) and our Midget Team (1999-2000 DOB).
You must attend Bengals tryouts to be considered for our Select teams. 
Tryout dates will be posted on our website and our Facebook page when they are set.

We are still looking for Coaches in the following divisions :
Mite (2007-2008 DOB)
PeeWee (2004-2003 DOB)
Bantam (2001-2002 DOB) *We tentatively have a Coach for tournaments only*

2017 Softball Registration!

Well it’s that time of year again! Time to sign the kids up for softball. We’ve made a few changes this year that we’re excited to tell you about.

First, let’s tell you about the upcoming registration dates:

Friday, April 21 – 6:00pm-8:00pm (Quinte Wellness Centre – Fireside)
Saturday, April 22 – 10:00am-2:00pm (Quinte Wellness Centre – Gym Meeting room)

Second, we have designed a new logo!! In with the new, out with the old.

And third, we have introduced Early Bird Pricing! Take advantage of Early Bird Pricing until April 22nd!!
